- RNA lab safety, RNase-free practices, and reagent preparation.
- Safety protocols for protein-based experiments.
Module 2 : Core Laboratory Techniques (15 Days)
- Biochemistry
- Spectrophotometry and Colorimetry
- Enzyme assays (activity and inhibition)
- Protein estimation : Bradford, Lowry, and BCA method
- Molecular Biology
- DNA and RNA isolation (manual methods and commercials kits)
- Agarose gel electrophoresis
- Gel staining and nucleic acid visualization
Module 3: Advanced Molecular biology Overviews (10 Days)
- PCR: Theory, workflow, and basic applications
- Restriction enzyme digestion and DNA ligation
- Introduction to DNA sequencing principles and application.
