PLASMID EXTRACTION KIT : Fast, Pure, and Ready-to-Use Plasmid DNA

Description

The Proteogenixx Plasmid Extraction Column-Based Kit is specifically designed to isolate pure, supercoiled plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures with high efficiency. Using the classic alkaline lysis method followed by purification through silica spin columns, the kit eliminates proteins, RNA, salts, and other contaminants. The extracted plasmid DNA is highly pure, reproducible, and immediately ready for downstream applications such as PCR, qPCR, sequencing, restriction digestion, cloning, and transfection.
Plasmids are small, circular, double-stranded DNA molecules naturally found in bacteria, distinct from chromosomal DNA. They often carry genes that provide selective advantages, such as antibiotic resistance, and are widely used as vectors in molecular cloning, recombinant protein production, and gene expression studies. Because of their pivotal role in genetic engineering, obtaining high-quality plasmid DNA is critical for accurate and reproducible results.

With optimized reagents and a streamlined workflow, this kit enables rapid extractions (under 30 minutes) while maintaining consistent yield and purity across various bacterial strains. It is a trusted solution for both routine plasmid preps and high-fidelity molecular biology research.
